    I have never been pulled so deeply into such a great story and I have recommended it to many friends to take them into the world of Matthew and Diana, and the spectacular cliff hanging moments that ensure the book is read for many hours on end ! I m sad that I have finished the trilogy for the second time....

    I have been riveted since volume one - the journey was in four dimensions, with two disparate creatures learning about one another and themselves. Humour and the darkest horror set in a convincing historical environment. Loved it, recommend it to you.

    Absolutely enjoyed it all the books and would recommend it as a nice light read. If you like the vampire witch idea and need something that will take you far away and take off your thoughts for a bit this is the right book. Enjoy!

    I waited until the last book to write a review, as I did not want any pause between these fascinating, exhilarating and enchanting books. As I turned the last page ( I had no idea that it was the last page) my audible comment was "Oh no"! I think that neatly sums up how much I enjoyed these books. For the uncertain peruser may I say that although these books are about Vampires, Witches and Daemons they are also about history and humanity and are the most singular books I have read in a long time. Try the first book and I hope, like me, you become hopelessly ensnared in a wonderful story. Finally, to the author - please don't stop at 3 books. It feels like the Claremont-Bishops have tales a plenty to be told.
