    Nic Roeg invented a new grammar for film - so it is only appropriate that he should invent a new grammar for books about film too... faber's film books have long been the best in the world - but with this they do something completely new, incorporating clips and interviews into the text. Once you've seen it you'll wonder why anyone would publish a book about the moving image on wood pulp ever again... Not to mention that Nic Roeg is as fascinating, eccentric and inspiring as you'd expect.
