    I don't know whether or not I am lucky, but, whilst I am reading his books in completely the wrong order, it matters not a jot! They are all simply readable, entertaining, and, a total pleasure. Laughter fills the air around my arm chair and the marks on the carpet are entirely due to my spluttering! Can't wait to read the next one.

    This is a great read as are all Bill Brysons' books.Needless to say I am a huge fan having read all his books at least twice.His observations of people and life in general is always entertaining. Mike Edwards

    If ever there was a book to have lying around the house, this is it. You can read it cover to cover or even simply pick a chapter that takes your fancy. You don't need to read in order but whichever way you read it you will be in stitches. One of the funniest books I have ever read!
