    If you can bear with it the story really does analyse every aspect of true friendship. A long trek but worth the effort

    In it's own right this is a marvellous story. Coming as the conclusion to Roland's epic journey it was wonderful. I laughed, I cried and I found the ending was fitting and thought provoking.

    I loved the final part of the dark tower series. Stephen king started strong with the first 3-4 books the 5th and 6th books however were absolutely terrible. He totally redeemed himself here. There was more action in the first few pages than the last 2 books combined. I can't write too much more as it would give too much away but if like me you'd give up hope on a good ending to the series after reading wolves of the calla and song of susannah fear not, the boy did good in the end.
